Bullet Marsh was first released in a map pack for the first Gears of War. The map takes place at night in a dark and grimy swamp. Epic Games is rebooting the map for the Gears of War 3 Versus Booster Map Pack.
The level design is quite similar to the original layout, however fans of the franchise will notice the difference between the first level special-weapon location. In the first game, there was no protective structure around the special weapon. In addition to this, the special weapon is a torque bow in the original map, whereas a boomshot is seen in this updated version.
