Two New Titles Go Platinumby Matt Gibbs
As reported in the latest edition of the Xbox.com newsletter, both LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy and Saints Row have gone platinum and can now be picked up for $29.99 from retail stores. We reviewed both titles at 8.3 and 8.8 respectively so they are definitely worth a look if you are out for a couple of cheap new games to add to your collection. Saints RowWelcome to Stilwater, an open-world city with attitude, a city controlled by rival gangs, a city you are about to take over in Saints Row. As a low-level thug in the Third Street Saints, do what it takes to get the money and build the respect and power you need to muscle your way to the top.LEGO Star Wars II: The Original TrilogyWith a comical take on the Star Wars Trilogy that revolutionized pop culture forever (Episode IV A New Hope, Episode V The Empire Strikes Back and Episode VI Return of the Jedi), LEGO Star Wars II follows the Rebel Alliance's battle to dismantle the Galactic Empire and rebuild a galaxy in pieces. From Darth Vader's pursuit of Princess Leia aboard her Blockade Runner to a showdown on the reconstructed Death Star, the game includes even more of the family-friendly LEGO action, puzzles and humor that earned the original LEGO Star Wars such popularity and acclaim.
