Gears fans, start revving your chainsaws, because Epic Games is hosting a Gears of War 3 “Winning Weekend” event, starting today. The “Winning Weekend” will be doubling the experience points in all versus multiplayer sessions, as well as rewarding gamers with extra experience points for every multiplayer, Horde, and Beast Mode match won.
The Alpha playlist is also being adjusted for this weekend. Epic Games is ditching the Execution mode for a 4-player team version of King of the Hill. Some members from Epic Games will be playing tonight as well, including Lead Level Designer Jim Brown, Producer Chris Mielke, and Community Manager Will Kinsler.
