After four and a half years as the Director of Policy and Enforcement for the Xbox LIVE service, Stephen Toulouse, is stepping away from Microsoft. Toulouse has been with Microsoft for 18 years and is now looking for a new career and adventure to occupy his time. In an open letter posted on his blog, Toulouse explains that there are no hard feelings between himself and Microsoft. “My reasons for leaving are complex and personal, but the parting could not be more amicable,” Toulouse writes. “I continue to believe this place makes great technology, and I am absolutely thrilled for the future of Xbox and Xbox LIVE.”
Toulouse is planning to take a two-week cruise following his resignation, and has no future plans beyond that. PlanetXbox360 wishes him good luck with his future endeavours.
