The surprisingly popular tower-defense title, Dungeon Defender, has gone on to sell one million copies through XBLA, PSN, and Steam. Its simple gameplay is balanced by a complex wave system of enemies, forcing the player to work with others and find out a strategy that works. This game design has captured the attention of over a million people, and the developers have no intention of stopping there. Three DLC packs are in the development for the PC version of Dungeon Defenders, although these are not coming to consoles due to contractual reasons.
“It is a tremendously successful franchise,” CEO of publisher Reverb, Doug Kennedy, stated. “We have lots of plans to support it both with DLC and additional add-ons for the franchise.” Were you one of the million to download this title?
