Production has ended on the Mass Effect 3 Collector’s Editions, meaning no more will be made in time for the game’s launch. BioWare CM Chris Priestly broke the news to fans on the BioWare forums explaining, “Sorry, there simply cannot be any more physical CEs made before launch. he items included in the physical edition cannot be made in time for launch. Sorry, it will not happen. This is why, back in November, I started warning people that the CE would run out.”
If you were hoping to get the Collector’s Edition for Mass Effect 3, I’d start calling around to every retailer right now to get a pre-order before availability dries up. Mass Effect 3 launches on March 6th, 2012 for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
