Gearbox has issued a brand new trailer for Borderlands 2 with the primary objective of pumping you up as much as humanly possible. The music, the edits, and the presentation of every shade on the color wheel make for a heart-thumping experience that fans of the original will not want to muss. Even if you didn’t play the original, you should still watch this trailer. No doubt about it, it is a very manipulative trailer, but that doesn’t stop it from being absolutely gorgeous. Check it out below.
In addition to the trailer, Gearbox also announced a September 18th, 2012 release for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. The Borderlands 2 Premier Club has also been detailed. The Premier Club will consist of a Golden Key (used to “unlock a rare item in the mysterious Golden Sanctuary Loot Chest found in Borderlands 2”), the Gearbox Gun Pack, and the Vault Hunter’s Relic, “an in-game item that boosts players’ gear-hunting fortune while playing solo or teaming up with friends.”
Local split-screen and drop-in/drop-out co-op is also being implemented into the game. Check back to PlanetXbox360 every day, as we will be reporting every new development relating to Borderlands 2.
