Good News Regarding R6 Vegas Map Packsby Matt Gibbs
The Rainbow Six Vegas Black Pack was originally intended to be made available free. This means those of you who purchased it already will be getting a refund, and to make up for the error Ubisoft will be releasing the Red Pack on July 6 free of charge too. Here's what they told Major Nelson:
"Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas Black Pack Downloadable Content for Xbox 360 Live was originally intended to be free content for the fans of Rainbow Six Vegas. We apologize for the error. All players who purchased the Black Pack will be reimbursed automatically.* The Black Pack will be posted Saturday June 30th and will be free of charge. Also, as a token of our appreciation for the Rainbow Six community, we are making the Red Pack free as of Friday July 6th as well. Thanks for playing and we hope you enjoy this free content."
* All players who purchased the Black Pack will be reimbursed automatically within 8 to 10 weeks.

Elder you might want to READ the full article first. You'll get your money back for the black pack. DLC is often done this way. Gears of Wars latest DL will be free in October I think but if you want to lay it while it's popular you need to pay for it. |

Not sure why I held off with the red pack, I play enough RB6V to warrant buying it....Great news about the black pack and even better is that I can get the red pack on the house as well in a weeks time.
I got the heads up on the Mehrunes Razor deal a week or so before it was made available for free. Bummer you ended up paying Elder! |

Balls!!!!! I just bought both map packs several days ago. I want a refund for both packs! It's not fair that I buy Stuff on live only to have it pop up FREE a week later. This happened to me with Oblivion and the Mehrunes Razor Download it's just not fair... |
