With so much time, effort and money put into Timeshift, it would be both quite surprising and devastating if it were to emerge as a flop, and without the new version being playable, it’s certainly a fear. However, if it’s a bigger success as the revamp first impressions certainly suggest, it could be an example to follow. Not satisfied with rushing out a last-gen gimmicky title, Saber are aiming to squeeze every last drop of potential out of Timeshift, and with impressive visuals, improved timeshifting, a promising multiplayer mode and clearly a lot of effort and attention, it looks like the mammoth delay could be well worth the wait.
