Electronic Arts held the contest tonight to celebrate the release of
Wing Commander Arena on Xbox Live Arcade. We went up against 15 other fansites in order to determine who was the best and fight over the thousands of dollars worth of prizes that EA has put up.
Representatives from each of the sites logged into Live and started the opening rounds, which would determine who would go into the semi finals. Our man, Ed Ransbottom /
Fried Karma got us into the semis against the people from Destructoid, WCNews, and Xbox 360 Fanboy, where he came out on top and went on to the grand final against Xbox 360 Fanboy. Unfortunately it was here that
Xbox 360 Fanboy bested us with 25 frags to 18... however the good news is that we still have a brand new Xbox 360 Elite, Wing Commander Arena and 11,200 Microsoft Points to give away to our faithful readers and community.
