Some gamers playing the Xbox 360 and PC versions of Bioshock in widescreen mode are not happy and rightly so... part of their fields of vision are simply getting cut off to make the game look "widescreen".
The issue is all over the
2K and
WideScreenGaming forums and as you can see from the picture below, in order to get a widescreen image, the top and bottom parts of the field of view are simply taken out. This goes against what has previously been said by 2K Games, that people playing the game in widescreen mode would see more of their surroundings than those playing in simple 4:3 mode.
An admin on the 2K forums said that they have seen the complaints and will be getting someone to look into them. This means we should get an official comment from 2K shortly.
