Mass Effect, Bioware's anticipated action role-playing title, has finally been given a release date and will ship to retailers in North America on November 20 later this year.

We’ve achieved that in ‘Mass Effect’ by putting the player at the center of a compelling, cinematic storyline full of realistic characters and hundreds of exciting locations.”

So there we have it... lock in November 20.
