Halo 3 to Break $200 Million?by Matt Gibbs
A market analyst is predicting that Halo 3 could become the worlds fastest video game by making more than $200 million in sales within the first stages of its release. The prediction comes courtesy of Lazard Capital Markets and the title Microsoft will need to beat in order to get the number 1 spot in World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade (Blizzard).
Their sights are currently a little lower though, and Microsoft are *only* aiming for a $155 million debut. Back when Halo 2 was released it made sales of around $100 million between preorders and early sales.
