Graphically Stuntman: Ignition looks really good, mainly it is just a visual upgrade of what looks like a carbon copy of the original game, but there are still some special effects in this game that could rival most big budget movies out there. The vehicles themselves look decent, as do the AI controlled character/vehicles. Explosions, fire, water, snow, etc. all turn out above average and the game resembles a movie all the time. The little movies and trailers are a nice touch but really are nothing special. Overall the graphical portion of Ignition is something to be proud of but at the same time nothing to write home about. The soundtrack fits well with each movie you are filming and the mood changes correctly as you switch to a different cinematic experience.

I was not a huge fan of the original Stuntman game but now that Ignition has hit next-gen systems I am becoming more of a believer. Many of the problems with the first title have been fixed (difficulty anyone) and some more modes, features, have been added to expand the lifetime of the game. Being the only real game of this specific genre (racing/adventure/puzzle) on the Xbox 360 there is not really much else to choose from so I have to recommend this game to all those people who enjoy movies, racing, and puzzle games. The repetition may test your ability to keep your controller from flying across the room but the patience pays off when you finish that hard-ass scene without one strike against you, and the director comes up tossing smiles and praises your way. While Stuntman: Ignition may not be the stellar knock out that THQ was hoping for, it is still a solid game that made me crack a smile more than a few times.
