Rock Band Gets a Price and Dateby Matt Gibbs
MTV have revealed both the final pricing and release of Rock Band, and for the most part, it's good news. The game will launch on Novmeber 23 in a package that will cost $169.99. Here are the details:
We’ve been told by our corporate chiefs that, actually, the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions will launch on November 23 at a cost of $169.99. That package will include the game, one guitar, a mic and a drum kit.
The PS2 and PS3 guitars will be wireless. The 360 one will be wired. A wireless 360 guitar will be available at a later date, those MTV people tell us.
As you will have read, the bad news is that the Xbox 360 guitar is the only one that will be wired - both the PS2 and PS3 get wireless versions!

Who cares? For $170 you could buy a REAL instrument, learn to play it, and join an ACTUAL band. |

i believe its due to MS being picky about letting out their wireless technology, or at least letting third parties use it. However the fact is GH3 will be wireless and they are not charging more than the other consoles so thats really no excuse. Wired/Wireless doesnt make much difference to me though, at least there will be no charging !!! Also im not too worried about only one guitar as I'm pretty sure GH guitars will work on it. So i'll have my gh2/gh3 AND rockband guitar :) |

I thought there was suppopsed to be TWO guitars with Rock Band?
Also, why xb360 get the only wired?! Why can't xb360 have wireless also?!?!?! |
