Gears of War Arrives on PC Next Monthby Matt Gibbs
Shacknews is reporting the the Xbox 360 "exclusive" title Gears of War is set to hit Games for Windows next month on 6 November, and that it will also include new content not seen on the Xbox 360 version. The game will feature five new singleplayer chapters, a new "King of the Hill" multiplayer game mode, three new multiplayer maps, a game editor, and the first and last showdown with the infamous Brumak boss. Also included will be all of the Xbox 360 downloadable content released thus far, for a total of 19 multiplayer maps.You can check out some all new media that Shacknews also managed to get their hands on, as well as some comments from Epic staff, right here.

I smell a add-on for the XBOX 360 version coming soon. That's a lot of extra stuff that should be given to the system that will give the game its bigger playing base. I don't care much about the multiplayer now that I have Halo 3 and soon COD4 but I think you leave the plot with gaps if you have new campaign missions in one version and not the other. |
