BioShock Sequel in Developmentby Matt Gibbs
By way of announcing their first quarter fiscal results, Take Two have announced that a sequel for BioShock is currently in development. It is expected to ship sometime in 2009.
2K Games said today that BioShock 2, the sequel to the wholly owned and internally developed title, is being developed by 2K Marin and is planned for release in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2009. The critically acclaimed BioShock title has sold over 2 million units worldwide since its launch in August.
In other news, the current rumor on the block is that the sequel will in fact be a prequel.

Awesome. Hopefully they will fix the gameplay issues. Mainly the repetitive nature and the kind of lame ability to have every single skill ever available. |
