New Content on Official Viking: Battle for Asgard Website

    by Matt Gibbs

SEGA and the Creative Assembly today announced that exclusive content has been unlocked on the official website of Viking: Battle for Asgard.

The new trailer for Viking: Battle for Asgard, Episode 4: The Glory of War, is now available only on www.sega-europe.co.uk/viking. Also, the site is updated with details on Hel, the goddess of the underworld, defiler of Midgard and instigator of the invasion that our hero Skarin must now fight back against. The location section has been further unlocked as well, with visuals and information on the second and third fully free-roaming islands of Galcliff and Isaholm.

Viking: Battle for Asgard will see a release on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on March 28th 2008. The game will put you in the gore-drenched boots of Skarin, a fierce Viking warrior, and will feature three massive islands to explore and liberate from an insidious evil. Players will use Skarin’s brutal combat moves to hack the invading undead Legion to pieces, rescue his kinsmen and assemble giant armies with which to drive out Hel’s entrenched forces.
