Budget Gangstas Save Cheddar by Looking to the Eastby Nelson R
Online retailer Play-Asia.com has added recently released GTA-clone Saint's Row to its list of region-free titles that can be had for 20 bucks less than U.S. retail. If you want to get your crime on, but don't have the $60 to keep it real, they have confirmed that the Asian version will play fine on any Xbox 360.
According to cheapassgamer.com there are at least 11 Xbox 360 games that have been produced as region free games and are all available for the positively friendly price of $39.90, with only an extra $3.10 for shipping to the United States. Remember that the packaging may not exactly match the U.S. version, so your chances of returning this to a Best Buy for store credit are slim, indeed. If you're not planning to commit fraud and just want to enjoy the game, this deal may be better than waiting 6 months for the U.S. price drop. I knew the global economy would pay off some day.
Saints Row sets the player as a member of the Third Street Saints, a gang trying desperately to take back the streets from three rival gangs that hold the city. Available in stores now.
