The game maintains a gloomy, abandoned feel throughout, but it feels perfect based on what The Club is supposed to be. The characters themselves, including the animations look solid. Although each level seems to feature too little variety in terms of gameplay, they at least all look like different slices of the same world. Each level seems to take place in another corner of the overlapping level theme, keeping at least the levels fresh. The sound in the game is also effective, with the guns sounding close enough to their real-life counterparts to keep you from cranking up music instead. The minimal voice work by the curator of The Club only adds to the mysterious tone of it all.

Those hooked by The Club's importance on the leader board will not be able to put the game down. Sadly, for the rest of the gaming population, there the game is all about replaying the same levels with the limited variety of weapons and characters repeatedly. It is a great idea for a game, but there is not enough here to warrant a purchase at full price.
