The Madden Challenge Goes Globalby Nelson Rodriguez
EA Sports rushed the mile high city today, kicking off the 2006 Madden Challenge and announcing five new international destinations. Fans made their way to Denver, Colorado's Invesco Field, thumbs at the ready, to compete for the regional title and a slot in the big showdown scheduled for the week of February 8th, 2007 in Honolulu Hawaii. The regional champ will win $1,000 and advance to the Finals, where the main prize is $100,000.
This year marks the first time the Madden Challenge will venture overseas. Competitors from Mexico, Canada, The U.K., Germany and Hong Kong will finally get a chance to show off their Madden skills. If you're feeling the blood rush through you right now, head over to maddenchallenge.com for more info, and make sure the schedule of 31 venues includes a city near you, or one you can fly, swim, drive or walk to.
