Techcrunch is reporting that Crackdown developer Realtime Worlds has racked up 50 million dollars in it's latest round of financing. The developer is also responsible for the upcoming action-MMO game All Points Bulletin, this influx of money can only be a good sign for the development of that game.
"Scottish game developer Realtime Worlds has raised $50 million in a third round of financing led by Maverick Capital, says a source with knowledge of the deal. The company previously raised nearly $33 million in capital from CIM Fund and NEA. We’ve also heard that Montgomery & Co.were advisors on the deal. Realtime Worlds is behind a number of game titles on a variety of platforms, including Mobile Forces, Crackdown and the upcoming All Points Bulletin."
