This may end up being the best game in a very long time. They definitely seem to be keeping with the spirit of Fallout... Two things I haven't heard anyone touch on, though. One, are they going to do a good job on the comedy? Because the original two Fallout games were "laugh out loud" funny. Which is quite rare in video games. The last genuinely funny games I played were Psychonauts and Bard's Tale. Two, will you have drastically different experiences depending on your intelligence? Because one of the greatest experience was walking around as a low intelligence character and just cracking up at dialogue.

Yes, Open world like Oblivion also Todd Howard said in a podcast that Fallout 3 has expanded to nearly the same scope as Oblivion. You can build/create items/weapons. Lots of cool stuff in this game. this fall will see me owning Fallout 3 and Gears 2 ;)

Does anyone realise how big this game is going to be??? We're talking GTA4 territory here.

is this an open world like Oblivion? If so i'd get this game just to tour the landscape.

Mass Effect has taken my time. Oblivion is/was a void of time itself. Now we have fallout 3...they're like drugs...just like drugs...
