During an appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman last tonight Green Bay Packers star quarterback, Brett Favre, did in fact confirm that he would featured on the next game in the Madden series. He will be showing up on the cover of EA's NFL Madden 2009 that happens to be the 20th anniversary edition. Considering he is one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time and the "Madden Curse" can't touch him this has to be one of the best things to happen for the series in the past ten years. Personally this has just sealed the deal for me getting Madden '09 on day one!
