please, it's not like Rock Star is not going to make millions off of the game, what's the big deal about less than a 100 gamers playing a pirate copy? Even if they did download it, they still are running "Bad" firmware and will be busted soon enough either way... |

My friend actually got his copy early yesterday, was round his house playing it, its really good, Hopefully MS wont ban him (or any1 who got it early) for getting their copy early, don't know how they can know that tho. |

if anyone knows of any stores in the UK selling early please let me know so i can pick up a copy asap. i heard that morrisons were but i called them this morning and they said that they aren't selling it until tuesday |

I also contacted some Australia stores, DVD crave who said they shipped to allow for transit time and the Australian Anzac Day public holiday. It appears the postal system was too efficient.
I contacted my store (JB HIFI) where my preorder is and they said they've heard nothing about the street order being broken and said they haven't even got their delivery yet. They also said EB is also not releasing the game. If anyone jumps ship after someone else, its usually EB anyway. SO looks like I still cant get it for a few days! DOh!.
Also, cant beleive IGN gave it a Perfect 10! |

Agreed, I contacted 3 aussies who all stated they got their copy from DVDcrave.com whom sent it early due to some public holidays in Australia. People received their copy on Thursday! I dont think MS should ban these people cause its a official copy and not a uploaded illegal copy. |

I've sent messages to players. All the replys I got where they got theres early from the game shops they work in. Can M/S ban them for that. I don't think so. Now 920 GTA players online. |

i have read about places on the web and also high street shops that are all ready selling the game, what i want to know is will m$ ban anyone who has bought Gta or and other game before there release dates.
i for instance bought halo 3 last year before it came out from Argos which is one of the biggest high street chain in the uk so if they check i could get possibly banded for doing nothing more than buy a game a week or so before it's release date . i think m$ needs to make sure that the people they ban are in fact running pirate copies, before they start doing any type of banning, i am sure they must be able to check. |

all you do is pull their info and have the cops at their door arresting them so you can prosecute them for piracy etc etc. and backtrack until you find the original ones and they get sued for a couple million dollars...... because it's just retarded to mess with a 300-400 million dollar game launch..... thats like jumping into a new spaceshuttle and taking it for a test flight 1 week before it's launch. I personally want to see these guys get their consoles Banned from Live permanantly and also ban the specific individuals from accessing live for life. And of course prison time for the one who are pirating. |

Sucked in. I am glad MS has the ability to see something like this. I hope MS bans or issues these guys n girls with a suspension of some sort.
Its not fair, everyone else has to wait. Now this means they also know which people have modded consoles, so expect a update to brick your consoles!
