New Game Informer Lifts the Curtain on Guitar Hero 4by Eric Bush
It was inevitable that Activision would follow the musical lead of Harmonix and include more instruments in the next version of their uber-popular Guitar Hero franchise. All this speculation looks to be fact as the latest issue of Game Informer shows off the new instruments in all their glory, hit the jump now. Personally I have always liked the Guitar Hero series more than the Rock Band game so I am more than a little bit excited about the next version; make sure to check out the link below for more information but also pick up the newest issue of Game Informer when it is released.

Wherever Harmonix goes is the superior franchise. That is why GHI & GHII & RB are greater than GHIII, which sucks. Those drums look kind of cool, but it looks like it's going to have five drums? [sarcasm] Great. Thanks, whoever is in charge of that to FORCE ME into making a final decision on what music game I'm going to play because you don't allow other company's peripherals. I already got rid of GHIII completely after plugging in my RB guitar and it telling me "no." You make me play through GHIII with a normal controller to unlock an achievement, but you won't allow the use of a "competitor" guitar? The competitor that made the 3 GH games before GHIII? Seriously messed up. [/sarcasm] |
