There is one thing that no one will argue about when it comes to Microsoft and their gaming events, they know how to throw one hell of a good party. Last night we had the privilege of attending one of, if not the, most hyped "after-parties" of this years E3 Business and Media Summit. This reception was of course for Microsoft and Epic's upcoming exclusive masterpiece Gears of War 2. The main focus of the party was to show off the new Horde, see co-op survival, mode of the game and give lucky press the chance to rub shoulders with the who's who of both companies.
We arrived excited to get our grubby little hands on the title and walked away more excited about this game than we thought possible. We will be writing a full detailed article about the multiplayer portions of Gears of War 2 that we played at E3 but for now enjoy the 20+ photos of the event. In a couple you can see Epic bad boy Cliff Bleszinki partying it up as well as Zachary Levi from NBC's Chuck (one of our favorite shows on the planet) sitting down to try out the new co-op mode. We also got to play all the Gears with one of the brand new, unreleased, red Xbox 360 wireless controller, check for a picture of that as well. Hit the link below and once you're done with the photos make sure to stay tuned for more from the E3 expo in Los Angeles, it's been a crazy ride so far.
