On Monday, GameStop and Activision will host two events with the USO for the release of Call of Duty: World At War at its Washington, DC – Pentagon City Mall and San Francisco – Powell Street stores. A monetary donation will be made by Activision to the USO for every copy of the game purchased at these stores.
These pre-release events will give gamers the chance to play in tournament-style competitions via Xbox Live against soldiers stationed at Fort Drum, NY, and Marines stationed at 29 Palms, CA, and an exclusive chance to buy Call of Duty: World At War early prior to its national release on Nov. 11.
