Ubisoft Announces New G.R.A.W. Patchby Nelson Rodriguez
The developers of Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter have been cooking up a title update to resolve some of the major multiplayer glitches that players have complained about. This is the second title update since the launch of the title, the first one sneaking in with the release of the Chapter 2 downloadable content.
The Multiplayer Update will be addressing a wide range of issues, including "network stability, new quick match search options, matchmaking, ranked games, and some glitch fixes". Gamerscore hounds will be thrilled to know that the new update will feature brand spankin' new achievements. Hopefully this will soothe the pain from the bad news that all leaderboards and rankings will be reset with the new fix. Ubisoft felt that some of the exploits being fixed were unfair to begin with and wanted to level the playing field. Lucky for me, I never did very well in online multiplayer.
Ubisoft also announced that Chapter 2 achievements will not be coming any time soon, because the developers did not want to create rewards that were only available to people who paid for the new content. I was hoping my 15 smackers would allow me to earn some more co-op badges, but I am willing to play fair.
The new title update is due to land by the end of the month.
