Although a title update for Gears of War 2 was released during the Thanksgiving holidays, the matchmaking issues that have been affecting the game since its release have not been resolved, causing gamers to complain on different web sites, including ours. Over the last few days, a "horde" of angry gamers have complained about the Gears of war 2 matchmaking issues in the official forums.
Mark Rein (VP at Epic Games), an active forum posters, took the time to reply back several comments posted on the official Gears of War 2 forums. The Vice President of Epic Games acknowledged that "some percentage of people are definitely experiencing long matchmaking times in certain situations" and he said that Epic Games is "working hard to fix them." Rein has promised that "more matchmaking changes [are] coming shortly" and "more improvements are coming as well."
