Following the release of a server-side fix, Valve has now rolled out a patch for Left 4 Dead to block cheats in player-hosted matches. Last month, a group of video game modders known by the name of GameTuts found a way to modify the Xbox 360 version of Left 4 Dead so any user can freely change the game's settings, allowing for unpleasant cheats.
The latest title update is designed to halt the cheating behavior in user-hosted servers and/or via system link.
