Following up on
our earlier story of a demo for Final Fantasy XIII shipping with Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete on Blu-Ray, Sqaure Enix has confirmed to gaming blog videogaming247 that said demo will be “Japan only.”
A company representative told VG247:
“At present the FINAL FANTASY XIII demo will only be available in Japan with the Blu-Ray release of Advent Children Complete, we hope to have further news in the coming months.”
Until we get official confirmation this will still be labeled as rumor. If Japan is the only place to get the demo I am sure we can find a way around the limitations. Stay tuned for more information on this demo as it is announced, right here at PlanetXbox360.com.
UPDATE: We have received confirmation from the people at Square Enix that the demo will in-fact only be available to gamers in the Japanese market; that sucks.
