NPD: Microsoft Doubles Playstation 3 Sales in December

The NPD Group today released its software and hardware sales figures for December, with Nintendo emerging once again as the clear victor. The house of Mario shifted a staggering 3.04 million DS units in December and sold 2.15 million Wii consoles. Microsoft should be just as happy because they doubled the 726k Playstation 3's that Sony managed to move, selling a total of 1.44 million Xbox 360's in the month of December.
