NPD: The Overall Top Selling Video Game of 2008 Was...

The NPD group released it's total sales figures for last year and not-surprisingly Nintendo and Microsoft both did very well in the software category. Wii Play took the number one spot and the Xbox 360 had four of the top ten games. The Playstation 3 once again had a poor showing in 2008, even more proof for third-party developers that are leaning towards the Xbox 360. Check out the full list below:
