    Publisher Square Enix Offers Buyout of Eidos Interactive

    Last month, Eidos quietly revealed it received a takeover approach and today some details were discovered, Square Enix officially announced it is offering $120 million to acquire the mega video game publisher of Tomb Raider. Square Enix announced today it would pay 32 pence a share for Eidos, over three times above the publisher's closing share price of 9 pence on Jan. 14, the day before Eidos said it had received a bid approach.
