Los Angeles, CA - February 17, 2009 – Retirement is put on hold as Matt Hazard has gone gold in the new D3Publisher (D3P) videogame Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard™. This third-person shooter with a sense of humor explodes into retail store shelves for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system on March 3rd.
In Eat Lead, players will take on the role of quintessential videogame star Matt Hazard, voiced by Will Arnett (Arrested Development, 30 Rock) and his goal is to stop the evil mastermind CEO Wallace “Wally” Wellesley voiced by Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog), from calling “Game Over” forever to the classic hero.
With nothing but his lovely “QA” helper from above, Matt is pitted against a vast back-catalogue of Marathon Software enemies that Wally has in his disposal from zombies, western cowboys and even a JRPG swordsman named Altos Tratus. Luckily for Matt, with such a illustrious videogame career, one is bound to make friends with some well known characters like Captain Carpenter and Master Chef, who help Matt along the way with some much needed power-ups and advice. Developed by Vicious Cycle, Eat Lead is currently rated “T” (Teen – Language, Mild Suggestive Themes, Violence) by the ESRB.
