FIFA 07 Demo Kicks Onto Xbox Live Today

    by Nelson Rodriguez

There is a demo available today on the Xbox Live Marketplace today, featuring the popular Electronic Arts soccer sim title FIFA 07.  Although this is an EA Sports download, you'll be relieved to discover that it is completely free.  I keep expecting to have to pay for promotional materials, these days.

Two years in development, the new engine is the single largest investment EA has ever made in the football business. The engine is poised to redefine the way sports videogames play and feel. A physics-based and data-driven technology, the engine delivers individuality of player movement, authentic athletic motion and an unprecedented level of responsiveness.

I guess i was a little irrational there, as i was very much looking forward to FIFA finally being good, and it's extra frustrating knowing the xbox one's achieved this. But it really is same old FIFA, in fact i'm pretty sure it's worse than the summer's WC edition. Unless PES6 drops a clanger out of nowhere, i'm sure PES6 will easily be the footy game of choice.

It's absolutely rubbish. I had high hopes for FIFA this year after all the positive press, and the great reviews for the last-gen version. However, seems the developers of the next gen version have ignored all the good work put into the current gen one and have well and truly 'ballsed' it up. Looks like PES well have no problem retaining it's crown on 360 this year.

Since I have downloaded the demo of Fifa 07 I have found it to be without a doubt the best football game there is. Though the demo takes ages to download it is well worth it. Since playing Fifa 07 demo for a number of times now I have found a large amount of improvements to the Fifa game franchise. From the way you control the ball to the way the next-get technology surprises you with its outright detail to players, stadium, and ball control.
