Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter Gets New Achievementsby Nelson Rodriguez
The recent announcement by Ubisoft of a mandatory title update rocked the G.R.A.W. community with cheers and cries about the fact that the leaderboards would be wiped clean, but the new achievements revealed today should be loved by all.
The folks at Kotaku uncovered the new achievements at achieve360points.com, and there seem to be some fun possibilities here. Helping your friends gain multiplayer achievements just got a lot harder with the new requirement that five different gamertags be present in the game for you to earn the points. Also, the new assassin achievement forces you to find and whack someone who already has this achievement to earn it.
I can't wait to try (and fail) to earn these:
Explorer (Multiplayer) - Win 5 Team or Solo matches on each original MP map with at least 5 different gamertags in the room. (20 points)
Victor (Multiplayer) - Win a public player match in all original game types with at least 5 different gamertags in the room. (10 points)
Team Player (Multiplayer) - Win 30 co-op matches with at least 6 gamertags in the room. (15 points)
Assassin (Multiplayer) - Find and kill an opponent who has the Assassin Achievement. (15 points)
Crack Shot (Multiplayer) - Kill 10 players with gunshots and at least 5 gamertags in the room without reloading or dying. (15 points)

ahhh man the home page got my hopes up. I thought they finally did the update. |

At the end of September Microsoft was handed the update package to review (apparently). Ubisoft claims that it will be released in early October.
I agree with the previous poster - don't announce an update release until it's actually ready.
Everyday I turn on the computer and search this site for the update... still nothing. |

These achievements showed up for me almost two weeks ago. The only way to get these achievements is to wait for the update. So when the update happens than the acheivements will actually be achievable.
The update still hasn't come out yet as I still have my ranking/place on the leaderboard. What gives Ubisoft!!?? First it was supposed to come out the last week of September, now we are well into October and still nothing.
In the future, for Ubisoft to boost their PR, I suggest not announcing anything until the day it actually comes out.
