Skilled artists or people with deeply disturbed visions in their heads will get a chance to compete for a free trip to visit Epic in North Carolina and get an early look at Gears of War. This time, the contest is only open to people who live in Europe.
If you're up for a trip to the old U.S. of A. for a sneak peek, all you have to do is create a design for a Locust creature. You can use pen and paper, computer or legos if you want, but you have to send the entry by email. Epic asks you to download their free Locust theme from the marketplace to get inspired for your masterpiece.
Epic has made it clear that artistic talent is not going to be the only factor in selecting a winner. "make sure your vision of a Locust monster is even more gruesome!... it’s the ideas that will count here, and we want them dark!"
