The upcoming downloadable Star Trek title, Star Trek DAC, is now set for a May 13th, 2009 release on Xbox Live according to an MTV report.
The arcadey title will see players choosing between the Federation and Romulan factions to battle it out in top-down space maps. Each faction has three classes of ships with which to make interstellar war: flagship, fighter and bomber. Up to 12 players can compete online across traditional deathmatch modes and base-centric variants Conquest and Assault.
DAC will cost 800 Microsoft Points ($10). The game is also planned for a PC and PlayStation Network release down the road.
