A Treyarch employee has revealed the developer of Call of Duty: World at War is already working on the next "Call of Duty" game after Infinity Ward's Modern Warfare 2 . Senior Animator David Kim has revealed in his online LinkedIn profile the following information:
I am currently on my second title as a senior animator in the games industry with Activision / Treyarch on Call Of Duty 7. Previous to that I specialized as a pre-visualization artist for various productions.
Call of Duty 7--no doubt a working title--may be expected next year given Activision's commitment to annual releases of its major franchises, and its "leapfrog" strategy which has seen Infinity Ward and Treyarch alternate CoD entries these past few years.
