Until we get official confirmation at tomorrow's press conference please categorize this news story as pure rumor/speculation; but recent information points to a new game being announced by Bungie at the 2009 E3 Expo, which will take place in the Halo universe. This game will be titled "Halo: Reach" and will be a prequel to what current Master Chief fans have played through in Halo 1-3. Kotaku.com uncovered the first possible confirmation through a "Halo: Reach" forum that will be opening on the official Bungie.net page next week. Today ConsoleMonster found what could be the achievement information page for "Halo: Reach", although we find that a bit harder to believe.
Either way this announcement would make perfect sense considering there are supposedly four Halo-themed titles currently in development and as of today we only know specific details on three of them.
