APB: Microsoft would be smart to pick up David Jones’, the creator of Grand Theft Auto, next project in the form of APB. It would fill a huge hole in Microsoft’s line-up in the MMO genre. Not having a sequel to Microsoft’s underappreciated Crackdown, APB would be a fine replacement for anyone craving a wide open world to run around in. Promoting the possibility of cross-platform play, this could be the title to unite PC and Xbox 360 gamers that Microsoft has been searching for (Shadowrun failed to do that).
Killer Instinct 3: Rare needs to revive this franchise for a number of reasons. Reason numero uno: Rare’s reputation has been put on the line with this generation of consoles. Reason two: the fighting genre is thriving for the first time in a long time with the release of Street Fighter IV, UFC 2009: Undisputed, the upcoming releases of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 on the XBLA and the full retail release of The King of Fighters XII. Rare should use this momentum to debut their arcade fighter on the Xbox 360 and witness fans queuing to see what they have in store for them.

Splinter Cell: Conviction: Once the highlight of Ubisoft’s release schedule, Splinter Cell has withered away into the abyss and it’s time for it to return this year as one of Microsoft’s exclusive third-party titles. It was once heralded as the next step in the evolution of the thrilling espionage genre, but with heading back to the cutting room floor to start from scratch, Splinter Cell: Conviction has been a long time coming. Microsoft and Ubisoft would be smart – if it still is a third-party exclusive – to provide Sam Fisher with a spot in Microsoft’s press conference rotation.
B.C.: Microsoft and Lionhead Studios put B.C. on indefinite hold back in 2004 – a move that was done due to financial constraints. With Lionhead Studios cranking out a fantastic video game in the form of Fable 2, I do believe it’s time for them to head back to the drawing board for B.C. and put all of their efforts into one of the most anticipated original Xbox titles for the Xbox 360. Who wouldn’t want to hunt down raptors and tyrannosaurus rexes with a tribe of your own prehistoric cavemen? Looking back, the screenshots for B.C. at the end of the original Xbox’s lifespan are still impressive to this day. We also know that Lionhead is presenting something at Microsoft's press conference this week....hmmmmm.
