Crimson Skies 2: Obtaining a cult-following, Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge was one of the better multiplayer games on the original Xbox. Aerial combat within Crimson Skies has stood the test of time so far and, if Microsoft was smart, they’d bring this franchise back in similar fashion to what Sony did with Warhawk. Releasing it via Xbox Live as a fully downloadable game for a cheaper price point and featuring exquisite multiplayer game modes, a sequel to Crimson Skies is well deserved.
Phantom Dust 2: Not many people will remember this obscure gem from Microsoft’s first and only release from their Microsoft Japan studios to reach stateside; although, Majesco was the publisher here in the U.S. Phantom Dust can be described as a cult hit that has a strong following that warrants a potential sequel. It would not only cater to the niche crowd here in the states, but it would help bolster Microsoft’s attempt at looking legitimate in Japan. If they ever decide to take Japan much more seriously, adding Phantom Dust 2 to their catalogue would be a wise decision.

Too Human 2: While the first Too Human was received with mixed reviews, Microsoft shouldn’t ditch this potential trilogy without giving it a second chance. The first title had its positive aspects that kept players digging away at the title’s deep equipment collecting, so if Silicon Knights were to add in the four-player cooperative play that it should’ve had in the first place, we could see the longevity of the series skyrocket. Microsoft should give it one more go-around and if it fails, let series slip through the cracks without ever hearing another peep about Denis Dyack’s dream project.
Jet Force Gemini HD: Lastly, in sync with Rare’s latest Xbox Live Arcade offerings, Microsoft and Rare should release Jet Force Gemini with HD visuals to gauge the interest of gamers with a potential revival of this Nintendo 64 franchise. The same could be said for many Rare titles that are sitting pretty in their backlog, but Jet Force Gemini would fit perfectly in Microsoft’s plan to grab interest of both teens and the younger audiences with a light-hearted game. Who knows what Microsoft and Rare have in store for gamers, but E3 should be used as a showcase to regain the confidence of fans who are scratching their head wondering what’s next for the legendary developer.
