E3 '09: Microsoft Announces Retail Games On-Demand
by Eric Bush
There was so much stuff to show, Microsoft couldn't make all the announcement at its E3 2009 Media Briefing. That's why right after the briefing ended, the software giant dropped a major bomb. The company is taking Xbox Originals to the next level by releasing on-demand access to full Xbox 360 retail games.
Starting sometime this year gamers will be able to buy and download full-retail Xbox 360 games and the best thing is that it won't require Microsoft Points. The price of on-demand Xbox 360 games will show in your local currency and you'll be able to use credit cards to pay for the games you buy.
