Just Cause a Big Hit in Great Britain

The weekly sales numbers have been announced by the Entertainment & Leisure Software Publishers Association in the U.K. and the open-world overthrow simulator is holding on to the top slot.  The game has not been a huge success in the United States, after some not-so-nice reviews cooled gamer interest.

I admit that I am one of the people who enjoyed the demo and was disappointed to find not a single great review.  I wonder what it is that gets lost in translation across the pond.  It should be noted that Just Cause is also on the top 5 list for Japanese Xbox 360 game sales.

Maybe people in the United Kingdom and Japan are entranced by fellas with the last name Rodriguez.  I'd love to believe it is so.  Can any of you blokes tell us the deal?
