Bungie says Halo Reach "Could Be Enabled w/ Project Natal"

    by Eric Bush

In an interview with the Seattle Times, Bungie revealed it got an early look at Project Natal. The creators of Halo, Myth, Oni, and Marathon, left the door open for Halo Reach, a prequel to the Halo trilogy, to make use of this controller-free motion-sensing technology. Bungie Studios President Harold Ryan said he's enthusiastic about the device and told the newspaper: "I absolutely think 'Reach' could be enabled with it."

Project Natal is the codename for a new technology developed by Microsoft that lets players control and interact with the Xbox 360 through gestures, facial recognition, spoken commands, and without the need to touch any controller.

Created by Bungie, Halo: Reach will be available in the fall of 2010 exclusively on Xbox 360.
