Falling off from the trend of using tin boxes to get an extra $10, the folks at Ubisoft have decided to include an Altair figure to stalk your Barbies. Sadly, I can't call this an action figure, because it offers no poseability, but it appears to be a handsome 12" figurine, nonetheless.
The final figure will be painted, unlike the prototype shown below. Don't deny it; this badass statue belongs on your desk somewhere. The Collector's Edition is not priced in the US yet, but some rumors have it costing as high as $100.
Game website Play-Asia is taking preorders for the Asian version of the set, which has been confirmed as being region-free. If you're willing to risk a Japanese instruction manual, the asian version will cost you about $75 shipped.
After bashing limited editions for months, I'm gonna look like a fool if I get this doll, aren't I? Damned contradictions. Well, if I find an Altair figure lying around in the street, and it ends up on my desk... don't you worry about it.
