The air-centric bonus map "Coral Sea" has been unlocked for public play in the Xbox 360 version of Battlefield 1943, after the game's running multiplayer kill-count surpassed 43 million this afternoon. Developer DICE's "Coral Sea Challenge" promised the map to each platform's community after reaching the milestone, which was achieved six days after the game's rocky release.
The PlayStation 3 count stands at 22 million, indicating PS3 owners end up just a bit slower at achieving things than us, amazingly epic, Xbox 360 owners are.
