Rainbow Six Vegas Demo Arrives, Outside of Americaby Nelson Rodriguez
We Americans are being left out of a brand new demo for a major title, as Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas hits the marketplace as you read this. Hurrah to the rest of you.
The demo is free, but excludes pretty much the entire continent of North America. If you live in Mexico, the United States or Canada, you will have to wait. That last one is bitter irony, considering that this title was developed by Ubisoft Montreal.
Maybe the demo features a bunch of sleazy North Americans making fools of themselves on the Las Vegas strip, and there's a worldwide inside joke on us.
*I forgot to mention that the demo will be available in disc form to North Americans who subscribe to the Official Xbox Magazine. Just not all of us.* Thanks to remixFA for the reminder!

i bought my omx last week at waldbaums supermarket. downloading demos is good but i prefer the disk so it dosent take up my hd space.and the magazine is nice to read. |

no sooner do i read this article, than do i decide to check my mail..
low and behold the new official XB magazine.. complete with R6vegas demo disk inside..
guess its just a ploy to get peeps to buy the magazine instead of DL it from Live.
It used to be a great reason to buy the mag, but since XBL demo dl's r so easy, its killed a few peeps reasons 2 buy it. |
